Vitamin C, also known as ascorbic acid helps to reduce fatigue and exhaustion. In addition to being important for body's normal energy exchange, it also protects cells from oxidative stress and ensures the normal functioning of the immune system. Vitamin C is important in the formation of collagen in blood vessels, bones, cartilage, gums, skin and teeth. Vitamin C is a necessary component for the absorption of iron and it also regenerates vitamin E from its oxidized state back to its active state.
Rosehip (Rosa) is a good source of antioxidants, because it naturally contains vitamin C and polyphenols, which help strengthen the body's defenses. Moreover, rosehip has a weak urinary excretion effect.
